Louis Vuitton’s Unisex Appeal

As I was thinking of the manbag lately, I thought I’d see what Louis Vuitton is up to in that department. But I got sidetracked by a bag that is gorgeously unisex. The leather on the Bequia briefcase looks subtle and sturdy, and the lines are sophisticated. It’s reminiscent of Stella McCartney, but I like the recessed name stamp and I think I’d love to carry my work around in this. I haven’t actually carried one yet, but I will run over to Cannes and check it out- because I think it will feel nice as pie in the hand.

While I was at the LV website, I checked out the projects they’ve got going on with Sophia and Francis Ford Coppola. I’m not sure I get them, but they’re not bad to look at. I assume it’s part of LVs brand building, and it’s a refreshing change from the regular photo shoot with lanky, sullen models.
