Where did all the totes go? The latest releases from a lot of the major house seem to have one thing missing, or at least shrunk down to nothing – Handbags, specifically totes. Gucci might have released a lot of leather clothes recently, but where did the totes go?

Here's a little – er, not really that little – Dior number. Another nice, neutral tone that goes with so many outfits. (But we love color, too, so we'll get back to some nice bright bags soon.) It's made of a soft lambskin leather that has cannage embroidery. Sets a nice pattern, doesn't it?

Let's take a look at a new layered leather hobo from Christian Louboutin. For me, the jury's still out on this one. It features carefully stitched panels of calfskin to form a silhouette inspired by armor. Would it work better if the panels faced downward, or does it work best as is? It seems like the folds would be perfect crumb catchers, to be honest. It does have a nice silhouette, however. I'm just not sure if I totally love it, or just find it fairly interesting.
