According to the sales blurb, the Ego is the “World’s most desired luxury notebook.” Words almost fail. Twenty thousand dollars for a laptop computer that looks like a purse. The first thing that comes to mind is “Where would you keep your lipstick?

Every model is handcrafted with cross-over hand-stitching, a relocated car door handle, and features Microsoft Vista, a 64 bit processor, 12 direct access keys, and a 160GB hard drive. Expected to hit the market next summer, the price is expected to be a whopping £10,000 or $20,000 if the exchange rate doesn’t change.

While it’s pretty, I certainly can’t imagine paying that much for a fecking laptop.

my macbook looks better than that!
Add a black lacquer model and a black leather model to the line, cut the stitching and quilting, add chrome and studs, (maybe tassels to the leather one), chrome plated chain for an optional shoulder strap, and Harley Davidson sound effects at startup. Sold! Maybe not by me, out of my range, but sold nonetheless most assuredly to SOMEone.
